A portable citybuilder that will keep you busy for hours

Translate
Pocket City 2 is a solid citybuilder packed with interesting features. The basic gameplay loop is pretty standard—place roads, construct buildings, earn money for more buildings—but there are unique mechanics that take things in an exciting new direction.
Whenever I needed a break from building, I could jump into my city, walk around, and explore. Not only was this a great way to see my city up close, but I actually made some pretty cool discoveries, like a hammer I could use to repair roads for free. There's even a photo mode, so I could snap pictures of all my favorite spots.
Pocket City 2 also has a collaborator mode where you can show off your cities to friends.  While it's possible for two people to play at the same time, you can also upload your city and let people check it out on their own time.
These features grabbed my attention right from the start, but I was a little concerned about the size of the map. My city wasn't all that big, and it was clear that I'd fill it up quickly. Thankfully, Pocket City 2 lets you expand the map, and it even lets you create multiple cities. Once I'd maxed out a city, I could create a new one with a different type of terrain.
On top of all that, Pocket City 2 has some amazing quality of life features, like the ability to switch between landscape and portrait mode and performance settings to reduce battery drain. If you're looking for a mobile alternative to your favorite PC citybuilders, you can't go wrong with Pocket City 2.
