Bio Prototype is an upcoming combat roguelike monster evolution game that will take you on a thrilling journey of survival and mutation. Players take on the role of an experimental monster, with a plethora of mutation options. With around 20 unique characters and over 40 kinds of organs at your disposal, you can create countless combinations to adapt to various challenges.
The game features retro graphics and bullet hell game elements, represented by a Vampire Survivors-like gameplay with extreme programmer-esque customization capabilities. Players can build their own skill combinations with infinite possibilities and effects, progress towards a customizable skill tree, allowing for creative and strategic gameplay, mixed up by other elements such as the ability to create various shapes of projectiles and breed thousands of offspring units to assist the player.
Players can release deadly viruses and make plagues spread aside from pure brute force domination, all in all offering interesting gameplay mechanics and challenges that are novel to the genre and seems to offer more complexity and depth with its customization than popular contemporaries like Brotato and Vampire Survivors.
Initially released for PC and Switch, Bio Prototype is set to launch on mobile as well this August 14, allowing more players to enjoy the experience across different devices.
