💖 Overall Experience:
Dawnlands is a great open-world exploration game that offers either single-player or co-op play, although it's most enjoyable with a friend!
In it's early state there are still quite a few bugs, and optimization issues on both PC and Mobile with some requiring re-logs and that's not entirely unexpected but can be an annoyance to some as of now.
Developer is very active on Discord and always updating!
🌐 Cross-Platform Play w/🤝 Co-op Features:
As mentioned above, this is available on both PC and Mobile, with cross-platform and co-op support!
🎨 Graphics:
The art style is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda, and it truly makes this feel like the co-op Zelda game we'd probably never see from Nintendo.
🎮 Gameplay:
The overall gameplay feels like a mix between Zelda, Genshin, and Valheim. Massive scale exploration with multiple biomes, taming & mounts, survival, crafting and base building elements, diverse combat (even on horseback!), various puzzles, enemy camps, dungeons & boss battles, and a companion/follower system!
🎵 Sound:
The sound design is great, with dynamic ambient music for exploration and combat scenarios, no NPC's feature voice acting but that's not a big issue for me personally and that may change in the future if the developer decides to do so.
🎖️ Progression System:
Dawnlands even in it's early state so far offers a rewarding and in-depth progression system, with various skills, research/crafting and area exploration options.
