Hi fellow gamers I am a strategy enthusiast gamer and have played countless strategy games. From classic warcraft and starcraft and red alert. To battle realms. I also played alot of mobile 4x4 strategy games like Epic Age and Northgard. Currently my favorite strategy game is Road to Valor Empires. But now im here to talk a wildly anticipated game. Age of Empires mobile first woule like to say the aesthetically this game is really beautiful from the highly detailed 3d models of the generals to your city kingdom to entire world map filled with barbarian npcs, resource locations mountains lakes rivers etc. The game is really streamlined and showcases a multitude of familiar strategy game systems presented in a very eye catching visually appealing manner. The battle animations are a step up from other 4x4 or kingdom builders in its category. All in all I would recommend trying this game as it is a fun strategy game with amazing visuals. Wish it would incorporate more strategic systems from other games.
Here are some suggestions recommendations to make this game better.
Suggestion 1
Hi Devs As a veteran player of strategy and 4x4 games like epic age and what I can share is a suggestion to create balanced battles which is to add stamina system to squads like each squad a hero leads has a spefic stamina amount that can be depleted by moving. It can help balances why? F2p players can strategically bait and switch decoy weaker squads and waste stamina of whale players stronger squads. But please remove the option of being able to buy stamina potions etc as it favors p2w players. The squad stamina system with no way of paid replenishment of stamina consumed by making moves will add strategic depth to gameplay moves and will create fairer more strategic battles as it was utilized by epic age. This game has the potential to surpass epic age and ROK if it adds more balance to battles and this system will help with that. Along with seasonal resets.
Suggestion 2
Also to add on to my earlier suggestion of stamina exhaustion system of squads that cannot be replenished by stamina potions to add strategic depth. Add garrison /patrol mechanic which allows a squad to defend an area and please add defensive structures you can build like tents where you can draft and replenish units and cheval de frise blockades which you can build to block and hinder march paths and watchtowers you can build that can damage enemies all these will make more strategic gameplay that will be fair for f2p players as it will add more strategic options to counter whales with stronger squads and also when 2 alliances contest or seige a city add a last hit function which gives a fighting chance to the weaker side if they send catapaults seige units in perfect timing to steal last hit this system was incorporated by epic age and made battles and seige wars of contesting gates or cities more dynamic and fair to both sides.
