I still don't understand why people want a Genshin Killer

Genshin Impact is killing itself no need for a killer

Its name says it all: Its a Zzz game, meaning that itll be so freakin boring that the players playing it will fall asleep. Theres no such thing as a game that kills another game. If a game dies, its because the players stopped playing it.

To paraphrase, this is the desperate desire of Genshin players to get meaningful changes in game. They proceed from the logic that if a competitor appears in a similar genre, the developers of an existing game will more likely to make improvements. But honestly, I think that MiHoYo will kill own game faster than anyone else. They will simply redistribute resources and focus attention on other projects, even on less profitable ones (HI3rd Part2 as example - didn't catch much new players because of several issues). I don’t know exactly how work is going on in Genshin’s team, but their passivity has been felt for several years now (the music and visuals remain excellent, but the other moments have too "variable success")

Wuthering Waves a side, I'm curious of what "Project Mugen" is gonna be like. Currently there's not much available of Project Mugen & also doesn't know that developmenet is going on of Project Mugen but the released information is sufficient to call this game a master piece

For example, you always eat the same potato chips, but that brand doesn't have many flavors. In contrast, the corn chip brand recently released a new barbecue flavor. Because the consumer was tired of eating the same old flavorless chips, he chose a new product that could offer different things. Well, they want a new option that might offer better gameplay and new features than the other one who doesn't have it.

In my opinion, I want a Genshin Killer not to see Genshin fail, but so HoYo start to put actual effort instead of screwing around. If Genshin gets a rival, they'll be forced to put in proper effort instead of having a story built on retcons and contradictions, or have a DPS check that give 600 gems every two weeks. Genshin has a lot of potential, but HoYo takes the easy route because they don't have to try. they have no rival.

it's just like how if there only Sony in the arena u will never see any good games anymore until we get a Sony killer some thing like this

well , I'd pretty much say that project mugen might actually kill genshin for good ..like . it's 3-4 games in 1 ..and it's a free game as well . not to mention the combat . visuals . graphics . huge open world and mechanics . while all you can do in genshin is fight monsters in a very calm combat pase with you peak , dungeons . calm story , not to mention that every game has a unique thing about it . like wuthering waves. it's pretty awesome ngl . but now we'll just have to wait and see what the future holds

The Genshin community is the worst of all gacha combined. Death threat on the devs, threat on the seiyu and English voice actor... As a result, the game also led to its famous share of plagiarism on BOTW so these characteristics are similar but less smooth which will not be restrictive for the worshipers of waifu without attention. However, the plot of Genshin does not shine much, a brother who wants to find his sister or vice versa is not really spectacular and especially the worlds and the history of the different nations which govern the elements are taken up on a lot of game with the theme that each nation has its element, you just need to find a different context and change the bases of it for the link to the original plot and the history of the nations. However, the only strong point is the artistic direction of the characters who are really impressive in their appearance (Zonghli, Dehya, Yoimiya, Arataki Itto, Nilou and so on). In short, a very toxic community at the level of a League of Legend player but which comes out with non-existent and horrible gameplay and meta where you will need some 5 stars and the best 4 stars easy to obtain to make the content of the play easily and without taking your head.
