Basically, Chinese RPGs in a nutshell. Same anime & post-apocalyptic theme reused over, over and over again non-stop. Because they ran out of popular franchises from other nations to copy from, they are now copying stuffs from each other made in their own country. It really is sad and disappointing when these developers despite having creative minds, they choose not to utilise it and make something new for once. The only unique RPG I am playing right now is the Ash Echoes which is the game adaptation of an anime called 'White Wattle Corridor'. It's developed by China's biggest game company Tencent. Although the game also focuses on post-apocalyptic theme but the character 3D models are unique and it's gameplay & upgrade system are unlike anything I have seen before. There is no character level up mechanic in that game at all. I suggest everyone to try that game out. Another good example is Counterside from Studiobside, which combines the defense RPG and side scroller ARPG with a pure chaotic combat gameplay & awesome skill CGs. This game focuses on current age theme rather than post-apocalyptic or ancient period. Counterside had the best anniversary in gacha genre this year where they gave away 3 free Awakened SSR units and one of those had a selective option ~

u may as well just call every story the same bc they feature some kind of conflict. all those game have different story, so no, they are not the same.

This meme is damn true and I love how great shows like Batman Beyond are perfect for meme templates, so many memeable situations lol. Also, even though, I love some of the games mentioned, Gacha games really do need to bring some thing interesting and unique sometimes. over saturation in the marke t is common but it's good to try something different.

Out of all Gacha games here I only play Nikke: Goddess of victory and waiting for Wuthering Waves and Zenless Zone Zero
