May 23rd 2024 marks the first global anniversary of Aether Gazer. To celebrate, Yostar hosted an anniversary livestream to commemorate the occasion and show everything that's upcoming for the global version. You can check out the post for important key notes.

Anniversary Rewards

For the Anniversary rewards, we get a S rank Modifier selector where you can choose one from 25 of the currently available S rank Modifiers in the game. Also we get 2000 Shifted Stars and a total of 20 Precise Scan Vouchers which amounts to 30 pulls!

They also gave a sneak peak into what's upcoming such as Aether Gazer PC Version, UI update, the (at this point elusive) Summer event and a nice little tease I won't spoil for you.

During the Anniversary patch, we can also create our own custom banner to choose and gaccha for a S rank Modifier of your choice.

New (V2.4) Update Content

Izanami & GUARANTEED GACCHA BANNER

Izanami is the latest S rank Modifier coming to the global servers. She is a Shinou Gen-zone ice DPS modifier who will easily be one of the top tier DPS in terms of META. Along with her, comes the arrival of the guaranteed gaccha banner which does not have a 50/50!

For the guaranteed banner, the pity did increase from 70 to 90 pulls as a trade off for no 50/50. I will check out the new banner system after it is officially out on May 23rd and perhaps go more in-depth about it.

(In case your wondering, the old precise scan gaccha banner with the 50/50 will also be available if you still want to continue pulling on that as opposed to this new guaranteed gaccha banner)

New Spicy Outfits

The new S rank Modifier Izanami is getting a skin straight off the bat as well as a skin for our much beloved THICC Lingguang and Jin-Ei. All of these looks fantastic but that Lingguang outfit is.....something special, lets keep it at that.

1 year of Aether Gazer

Aether Gazer kind of just happened to release at the right time when I was looking for a ARPG gaccha game. Ever since I started playing Aether Gazer day one, I have seen this game improve and get better drastically with QOL & updates coming faster than it did for the CN version. The story also improved tremendously with Chapter 12 (Dreams Undreamed) being one of the most impactful story I have seen in a gaccha game. It has also improved on the gameplay aspect with character kits being more flashy and engaging as well as the character designs starting to appeal to a more "concrete audience".

All in all, the game has evolved into it's own distinctive gaccha ARPG game and I wish the game a happy future.
