Never played any of the Langrisser titles, which made its debut in the 90s, but I knew this game is going to be great when I started it because its opening soundtrack is just glamorous. Although the story of the good and the evil is kinda cliche, Langrisser still attracts me with its lovable characters with distinct personalities and well-written dialogues. It’s also good to see that the game decides to go with the 90s art style. Nostalgia.

A perfect combination of strategy game and anime style gacha game, but I am giving 4 stars unfortunately due to the fact that there is a huge "level gap" every 5 levels and enemies become really hard to beat during these gaps, although the game is really fun early on (the level gaps are insanely huge at lv 45 and lv50, don't say I didn't warn you)
