Chrono Trigger meets Zelda in this charming but clunky RPG

Evoland 2 is an inventive RPG with witty dialogue and great retro-style visuals, but the awkward mobile controls detract from the overall experience. The touch screen controls aren't always responsive, which can be extremely frustrating when you're trying to fight off enemies or get through platforming segments. It's a shame that the controls are so clunky, because the rest of the game is absolutely fantastic. Evoland 2 has a time travel storyline that takes you through the history of RPGs. As you progress through the game, the graphics and gameplay change, making Evoland 2 look like RPGs from different eras. There's a little bit of everything here, from classic turn-based gameplay to card battle segments.

The pixel graphics wasn't really a bother for a good adventure game

It's a pretty decent adventure game with a good storyline. I love these games because it's really nostalgic having a game with a similarity to the final fantasy games. Not to mention that the skills and items are really detailed for a mobile game, which makes it even more worthwhile to play. For a small price to pay for this game, it is definitely a bang for your buck.

This game would really take you a trip down to different eras of gaming

This game really has a weird gimmick of having different sorts of animations throughout the game. One moment you're in this pixel graphic, and the next thing you know you're in a 3d rendered environment. The game is really packed with so many surprises which makes it really addictive. This has got to be one of the most interesting RPG games I have purchased so far.

Something that I would be playing for hours!

The game is filled with so many puzzles apart from just hack and slash. This is a game that is so versatile that even the graphics has their variations throughout. What I like most about this is the minigames because you can never really get bored with the game having those. Worth the purchase, and something I would play continuously to see it through.

I've already 100% the game twice, and plan on doing it for the 3rd time this year. It feels good to return back to it every year, as if it is a rest point between my other games
