Shaman King: Funbari Chronicle is a new game for the Shaman King IP, and is definitely a treat for fans of the original manga, the 90's anime, and also the new remake anime. Visually, it looks really really good, with story mode having a nice and immersive manga feel. Unfortunately, this game does not escape the trappings of an anime gacha game. It feels like any stereotypical gacha game from an anime IP, and its gameplay does not stand out at all, even with the beautiful manga feel. There is auto-battle and x2 speed, which is convenient, but it still has the same tired gacha game mechanics. It's fun, that is true, but I felt that I have played this same tired style for other IPs like KonoSuba and One Punch Man.

it would be a 5 star but it takes to long to reroll your account if you don't get what you want from the souls they give you. I have been rerolling since launch and keep getting shafted on my pulls. I'll get one of the 2 I'm looking for from the free then get all blues from the souls you get. if you didn't have to Uninstall to reroll game would be 10/10

i like the game and it's fun. But I bought a pack from the shop and never got it in the game. Filed a ticket but customer support never responded. Don't spend money on this game yet.

😓 your units can't even follow their own turn like its a lazy bitch turn even if it isn't their turn they will atk and the targeting system is meh too like i want my fire unit go atk the green attribute but instead it will atk other unit and it breaks the fluidity of the round. frequent blank touch like you can touch other UI but the others are blank you can't get to it. frequent black loading screen not black screen like the latency is soo poor and it ruins the game, don't get me wrong the game is good but i just want to point out the problems and it needs to be fixed ASAP.

After all these years of waiting there is finally a very nice Shaman King game for smartphone! Of course it is gacha, but that is not bad in my eyes because of the variety of characters. It is very easy to get many of them to 5 stars as well because you can farm the souls for many of those characters.
