I have to say, the gameplay is pretty much similar to other idle gacha games (which sometimes I enjoy playing it before you stuck at some points, lmao). But the interesting part here is the characters. I basically love fairytales, urban legends, etc. How tales of grimm adapting those stories is quite unique. Let's see if I'll pass 7days of playing, for now I kinda like it~

Tales of Grimm is a pretty cute strategy game with autobattle elements. It boasts a cutesy dark and gothic art style which meshes well with the game's overall feel. And yes, the heroes do look like Disney princesses. Let's just get that out of the way. The game mostly takes its inspirations from the tales of the Grimm brothers. Disney-inspired and fairy tale-inspired character designs aside, it's a fun game. As I said above, it has an autobattle element. I have played the game for a couple of hours now, and the gameplay itself is pretty standard for an autobattle RPG. Not really a lot to say about its mechanics. So far, the game has been a bit generous and F2P friendly.

F2P friendly for someone who doesn't really care about ranking in arena. I love the gacha the most. Although getting myth characters are quite hard, getting 5 stars are actually quite easy. However, to fully enjoy the game experience, you need to at least reach VIP3 which you need to spend a lil bit of money so this is one of the things that are lacking.

VIP level is not growing for f2p player, so I'm missing a LOT, including cumulative 5* heroes from summons. You should decide who to build from the start, because rearm is a long run. 'Expedition' is really hard even on normal difficulty, can never complete it without spending on revivals. Overall.. good money making machine with smooth interface and pleasant art style. 😐🎉

Great game over all . Afk arena clone. Playable for f2p if you are ready to grind for a while. Support is either really slow or non existent. lately Having issues with payments. Says "item unavailable in your countury". Started happening a couple of days ago.

You are kinda ought to get VIP3 to fully enjoy the game but overall it is an underrated game.
