MoreA dystopian document thriller. The award-winning, critically-acclaimed border inspector game. ______________________________________ The communist state of Arstotzka has just ended a 6-year war with neighboring Kolechia and reclaimed its rightful half of the border town, Grestin. Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among the throngs of immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists. Using only the documents provided by travelers and the Ministry of Admission's primitive inspect, search, and fingerprint systems you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested. ______________________________________ Warning This game contains mature themes, non-photographic nudity, and brief moments of pixelated violence. ______________________________________ Awards ◉ Best Game of 2013 - The New Yorker ◉ Best Game of 2013 - Wired Magazine ◉ Top Indie Game 2013 - Forbes Magazine ◉ Best Strategy & Simulation Game 2014 - BAFTA ◉ Grand Prize Winner 2014 - Independent Games Festival ◉ Excellence in Design Winner - IGF 2014 ◉ Excellence in Narrative Winner - IGF 2014 ◉ GameCity Prize Winner 2014 - GameCity ◉ Cultural Innovation Award 2013 - SXSW ◉ Best PC Game 2014 - LARA Game Awards ◉ Innovation Award - GDCA 2014 ◉ Most Innovative 2014 - Games For Change ◉ Best Gameplay 2014 - Games For Change ◉ Best Game of 2013 - Ars Technica ◉ Best Game of 2013 - PC World ◉ Best PC Game of 2013 - Destructoid ◉ Best Story of 2013 - Destructoid ... and more

The game has a very simple premise, but the storyline and the gameplay are so well developed that it never gets boring. The dinamics of the game are so rich and immersive that you actually feel the emotions of the main character, the stress, the worry about your family, the tension and so much more!
Your choices have direct effect on the future of your country, your job and your family, that's refreshing and overwhelming at the same time (in a good way, I guess lol), but don't worry, you can make multiple storylines. It took me 4h30min to play it, and it was totally worth it.

Paper's please is a border patrol simulation where you are a border officer for the Arstotskan government. At the end of your shift you must learn how to balance expenses for your family (or just let them die). Apparently, money is more important than citizens as a measly 5 dollars in debt is enough to land you in jail. And as every totalitarian goverment has it, there a revolution ongoing.
This man is a messenger for the Order of the Ezic Star. If you ever choose to go down this route and render the revolution successfully, a new government will be established. However, get caught and you will face the highest of consequences.
