Plants vs. Zombies 3: evolved – Quick Thoughts

Honestly, PvZ 3: evolved is pretty fun. The gameplay feels smooth and satisfying, and the graphics look really nice bright, clean, and definitely an upgrade from the older games. That said, the story is super basic. It doesn’t really grab you or add much to the experience, which is kind of a shame. Overall, it’s a good game to play if you’re into PvZ, just don’t expect anything deep storywise.

Another Beta is out

Pros Changed a lot of annoying things from the previous version We have 11 base plants and then combine them to create 36 2nd tier (Peanut or Snow Pea) and 19 3rd tiers (Endurian) Plants now have different "Merge Tiers" Visuals are a bit better than the previous beta Now we have a character were you can dress them up(not a huge variety of items but its Beta) To unlock plants you need to gather up seeds and exchange them for new plants

This game is less fun than PVZ 1 and 2. The graphics feel downgraded and awful. The gameplay is basically a copy-and-paste from the fanmade PVZ Fusion, and the levels are repetitive and monotonous.

The 4th iteration of pvz3 and its have a lot of flaws. EA really like to shortening the level and make it very unbalanced, the meteor and zombie is spawn faster than my sunflower generating sun in level 9, wth. Feels more grindy, and waiting game than a tower defense game. yeah sure fusion plants is a good gimmick here, but requiring to unlock it first with collectibles is not such a good game design, plus the first seeds (like sunflower, peashooter, etch) is not obtainable by playing the game, but it's makes us to plant it and wait while the level need that fusion to beat. hope it more better next version tho.

It's a lot better now compared to the previous version, too bad it took them long enough to make this new better version. What like this version so much is the merge mechanic, it definitely have a lot of potential for it to be fun. As of now it's still somewhat in a early stage but fun enough and I hope this won't become predatory like pvz2 where some plants are locked by paying real money. I'm also excited for the possible modes for this game like PVZ1, I hope they make a infinite mode or like a rogue-like mode where every after round you'll have a chance to pic a plant something like that. As of now I hope this version becomes successful and won't become predatory like pvz2.

Good concept, but insanely bad graphics... It's like the budget went downhill. Don't want to be a hater on this franchise but they literally took the idea of merging from other games and put it in the PvZ franchise, and the graphics are horrendous on top of that, like guys, at least try a little...
