Gameplay In Starseed: Asnia Trigger, you play as The Architect, working alongside AI girls (Proxyans) to combat a rogue AI faction (Redshift). Proxyans are divided into distinct factions, such as Artcaise, focused on creativity and the arts, and Stings, a military-oriented group. The gameplay is a blend of strategy and action, where you assemble and pit teams of Proxyans against enemies. Battles are fast-paced and engaging, with special attack animations that are visually stunning. Characters The Proxyans are beautifully designed. The game includes "Instarseed" - their version of Instagram. It can be used to send gifts, interact with Proxyans, and deepen your bond with them. Proxyans have individual stories with you which trigger as your bond deepens which are endearing. The interactions between the Proxyans and The Architect (you) are charming, which makes forming bonds with them rewarding. Graphics The visual presentation of the game is amazing. Proxyan designs creative and cute. The battle animations are really well animated and fun. Suggestions for Improvement While the game offers meaningful interactions through Instarseed, I'd love it if the game added a dormitory (or similar) feature where we can engage more directly with our favourite Proxyans. Mini-games or additional activities we can play with individual Proxyans to increase affection would also be really nice to have. F2P Friendliness So far, the game is free-to-play (F2P) friendly, especially for players who enjoy collecting characters- levelling up every Proxyan might be trickier for F2P players but I don't see it as a requirement. I can see myself buying some things in the game in the future, but mostly if outfits come up that I really want. Overall Impression Starseed: Asnia Trigger is a charming, engaging, and thoroughly enjoyable game. Its focus on cute AI Proxyan characters is both its strength and its appeal, delivering exactly what it promises. The game has exceeded my expectations. While I originally just downloaded the game to have something to play while I was waiting for Girls Frontline 2 to release, the game won me over with it's charm. It's also good to see a game deliver on it's promise - a game which promotes itself on being about cute AI waifu girls only has cute AI waifu girls in the summon pool - looking at you Cat Fantasy, the "Catgirl waifu game" with lots of human guys in the summon pool, because.. reasons?! Starseed: Asnia Trigger is definitely worth checking out! :)

Not a bad game if you like turn based gachas. It runs well, there's quite a bit to do and it has good QOL features.
It unfortunately falls down on the usual gacha problems. It has an energy system that you can burn through really fast. It also does the usual new gacha trend of showering you with free pulls and currency at the start.
However once that's all over you soon realise some resources are really difficult to obtain and SR characters need a ton of upgrades. Unless you're spending a lot of money it will probably take you a year just to upgrade one team of SRs and that's only if you get lucky because they require dupes.

Awkward in a bad way, the beginning of the game is really a long winded weird soft fan service like intro which feels like it needed more time to be worked on to really hit home.
-Voice acting is okay but awkward.
-Visuals are good but after a certain point you feel like the characters were supposed to be more fan servicey.
-Music wasn't bad or notable
I got burnt out of it immediately after seeing all that.

The setting melds elements of cyberpunk and fantasy, crafting a visually arresting landscape that is both immersive and engaging. The game descriptions are very misleading: "Immerse yourself in a world where cats transform into captivating anime girls and beloved waifus" and "leading a diverse group of anime cat girl combatants". The game is not just Catgirls as the description implies. In my first 5x10 summons in the standard pool over half were human/monster guys. It's a bizarre decision in a game clearly marketed as a Catgirl waifu game. If this was fixed, I'd jump back into the game instantly. I've also found it really hard to provide feedback, I feel gaslit by the EN Discord group who argue that having mostly male characters pulls in the low rarity pool isn't inconsistent with it being a Catgirl waifu game
