House Design Game Lets Your Creative Juices Flow But Too Many Ads And Is Kinda Awkward
House Design Game – Home Interior Design & Decor is a home improvement simulator game where players get to play as interior decorators and help design homes. My mom is an part-time interior designer, and I tried this game out so I can recommend it too her. But while the meat of it, the interior designing part, was great, there were too many unnecessary add-ons, as well as too many ads.
The designing part was actually pretty good. The game featured a good variety of options and themes to decorate a house. It really made me channel my mom's design skills and be creative. The graphics were also OK, around Sims 2 levels for the house and decors, but the humans in the game kinda looked awkward in my opinion. They really looked out of place. However, just like a Godzilla movie, we aren't playing the game for the human characters, right?
As featured in the photo above, players can have multiple design projects, with a variety of house types to choose from. However, there is an unnecessary side to this, as there is also a driving part in the game, where players have to drive from one location to the next. And yeah, you do get to run over people, but what was the point in having a driving part in a game where it should focus on designing homes?
Ignoring the unnecessary driving part, the game does let you go wild on the design aspect. There are also some story missions which is a bit challenging, and would really get your creativity going. Unfortunately, the experience is somehow ruined by the text-to-speech voicework, which in addition to the bad character graphics, makes the game all the more awkward.
And my biggest gripe about the game are the ads. The ads just ruined it for me, I mean, in character selection alone, I had to deal with around 5-7 ads. Kinda lost count after the fourth one. If you hate those ads on YouTube, then this game ain't for you.

[/b]The home designing option was great. Honestly, it was the meat of the game, and it actually saved it. The home and decor graphics were OK too, nothing to write home about, but the story is a bit challenging.
[b]The Bad:
[/b]ADS!!!!!!! There are too many ads in the game, and the voicework was just awful, with text-to-speech rather than actual voice acting. They also added a driving part which seems rather unnecessary. Characters look awkward too.
[b]Final Verdict:
[/b]While the main part of the game was actually fun, I was frustrated with skipping or watching too many ads. It was supposed to be an OK game, 3 stars, but that was if it did not have all those ads. It's bad. Not really awful, but bad none the less. Would not recommend for my mom to try.
