EN ID TH ES PTA new Arcade Party mode is coming on 25 November called Sniper Showdown! As the name suggests, you aren't allowed to use any other weapon than a Sniper Rifle. No buts! ONLY a Sniper Rifle.

Let me walk you through the new gameplay today!

Number of players: 16

Map: Random Map

Team-up: Two 8-member teams will be randomly formed

How to win: The first team to obtain a score of 60 in the given time eliminates the other. Otherwise, when the time is up, the team with the higher score wins.

Mode features: Players will be divided into Red and Blue teams to fight each other on a small map in an open field. Players can only use single-shot Sniper Rifles. If you are killed by your enemies, you will respawn at the base of your team. As for Sniper Rifle accessories, you are free to use anything you like. Whether you want to zero in on your enemies from afar or take your sniper with you in a direct assault, this mode has everything a sniper desires.

Start by familiarising yourself with the maps in order to find the best sniping locations.

The red arrows in the image above are pointing at objects in the open field where you can hide. These locations are usually ideal for Sausages to snipe at each other.

The small platform in the image above allows you to see everything on the opposite end. But be careful of a possible sneak attack from behind or getting jumped from a higher location. Be as vigilant as possible and be careful of your surroundings.

Minimize your exposure time when sniping at enemies. You should hide and take cover immediately after shooting. Otherwise, as the image shows, your enemies will easily kill you.

I also suggest that you pre-align your aim to the vicinity of your target first. This means before you snipe, you should pull the crosshair to the right or left side of the enemies. Hence you don't need to move the rifle around too much when looking through the scope.

Sniper Showdown is the perfect place to practice without having enemies come close and blow your face off. Feel the rush of adrenaline when defeating your enemies while improving your sniping skills.
