Tears of Themis Game Review: Embark on the next crime adventure from miHoYo
Tears of Themis is an Otome game in which you play as a female lawyer who solves cases in a law office in Stellis, a technologically sophisticated metropolis with many secrets. Other individuals accompany you, each with their own backstory, personality, and secrets. It's a very gorgeous and well-polished game with almost no problems in the gameplay. While some players who have played prior miHoYo games, which are RPGs with radically different gameplay than Tears of Themis, may not enjoy a quieter, story-driven game, if they stay around long enough, they may find themselves lured into it. In this article, we'll look at Tears of Themis and give our initial thoughts on the game.
Begin by resolving cases with four additional male characters
Tears of Themis begins by presenting you to a few characters in an unusual and intriguing way. It's suggested that you watch all of the cutscenes in order to learn more about the characters and the tale. When it comes to the story, this game features a really rich and engaging one that will undoubtedly appeal to fans of story-driven games. It may appear to be a little slow at first, but as you get into the game, it will pull you in.
Apart from the protagonist, i.e. you, there are four other male characters in the game (thus introducing the Otome aspect of the game). Artem Wing, Vyn Richter, Marius Von Hagen, and Luke Peace are the four main male characters in the game, and each of them has a different personality with which you must form relationships. They'll assist you with the instances you're working on.
The story is a mix of romance and crime fiction
Investigating diverse scenes (not always crime scenes because you must form conclusions about your allies to learn more about them), arguing with different people, and questioning them is all part of the game. Debates entail trumping your opponent's reactions with cards and decreasing their HP to zero. Cards can be upgraded, and they fall into one of three categories: Emotion, Intuition, or Logic.
The primary plot, dubbed X-NOTE, isn't the sole game mode; studies on various themes, an anomaly mode, and events are all included in the game, expanding the player's experience. You must also go over the evidence, which you will either uncover on the scene or obtain by questioning others. Overall, the game has a lot to offer in terms of gameplay and experience. The arguments and debates start out simple and straightforward, but as you progress, they become increasingly difficult.
The gameplay experience is enhanced by stunning aesthetic graphics

The graphics in this game are absolutely gorgeous. The detail, fluidity, and colors look great but do keep in mind that to support these graphics and deliver a playable fluid experience, you will need a device with good enough specs. miHoYo’s previous titles like Genshin Impact have pushed devices to their limit
The game's background music is soothing, and the voice acting (yes, each character has their own voice acting) is excellent. Overall, the soundtrack does a good job of setting the tone for the game.
The game has a complex UI and optional IAPs
The UI is a little confusing at first owing to the number of features in the game, but after you figure out where everything is, you'll be fine. Because this is a click-and-play game where you simply tap on cards or evidence, the controls are minimal.
Final Verdict
Tears of Themis is a graphically stunning game with a compelling tale that doesn't let up and solid gameplay. The graphics and audio are excellent, and the user interface is simple and straightforward. The only flaws we discovered in the game are the abrupt pop-ups that appear out of nowhere and the energy system.
