Alright. Ragnarok Origin.
This one is for region NA aka North America. Those of you who are playing this in SEA region just like me, beware of lags and delays. Well, you can always use VPN though.
Anyway, we all know that Ragnarok has so many mobile mmorpgs to be played. Last time we know there is Ragnarok Eternal Love, and then Ragnarok X Next Generation, and now this one. Now I'll just point out what features are there in ROO that different from other ragnaroks..
There are 3 currencies: Nyan coin, Zenny, Eden coin. Nyan coin is currency you can get by topuping your character. Zenny is coin you can use to trade to other players through market, and Eden coin or copper can be used to buy items from NPC.
Daily. You have comission tickets that can be used to do dailies. Each activity requires 10-20 tickets and can be played once or twice. They are minigames actually. There are fighting monsters, collecting items, escorting things, avoiding monsters etc.
Mercenaries. You can take NPCs to your journey and even some dungeons. There are 6 NPCs for six jobs each. You can level them and their gears up. You have option to turn on and off their skills according to your needs. They will also have talents that can be learned with scroll.
Merchant can not use vending. No, they cannot trade like they can in RO classic or ROX. So, forget it to make a merchant as slave character to make money. There is no sharing storage either.
Events. There is menu called Events, in which you can find any Events with their schedules from Midgarts or from guild. From my experience, this ROO has so many events compared to other ragnaroks, and yet they are held short time only. For example PVP arena that I did on Monday only 30 minutes, and the next pvp arena will be on Friday. For me who play this from region SEA which has 15 hours difference, keeping up the ROO events schedule quite difficult, and they are mostly only 30 minutes.
Life skills. Unlike ROX, in ROO there are only 2 collecting skills: Fishing and Foraging. Also 2 crafting skills: Cooking and Pharmacy. Cooking and Pharmacy will require stamina to create foods and medicines that can give buffs to your character in certain limited time. This crafting has success rate by the way, so better you prepare with many ingredients in case you fail in one try.
So, my conclusion and opinion, this ROO is nice with graphics, and quite similar to RO classic, especially the maps. You get to change job in the city that job belonged to. For example, thief in Morroc or swordman in Izlude. Most mobile ragnaroks don't really have this so it is quite nice to see they have it in ROO. Skills also similar, although not precisely, to RO classic. And many events, you will not get bored I believe.
