As an Impostor who can confuse spacecrew, chameleon's role in the team is crucial, Chameleon's skill is stealth, but this invisibility has one drawback, which is that except for walking, any moves you take will let you show up immediately. In the beginning of game, you can take advantage of stealth to attack people quickly then leaving the scene (effects will get better with turning off the light), then if someone reports, the big probability is to skip vote due to not getting valid clue, and even if someone might estimate that the Chameleon did it, there are also no direction of whom to be judged, then so just get a little sly and have your opportunity to erase suspicions of you.

Chameleon advanced playmode (Impostor generally): Turn off light immediately after game starts, then wait for Spacecrew in Electric. After successful attacks, use invisibility to quickly escape, when someone reported a body at meeting, no matter what the result of this round would be skip vote (Spacecrew doesn’t have enough evidence), then with your teammates (except Janitor) converge and have wave of double attack (first attack Spacecrew with special role and the one that has done medical scan), then quickly fled from the scene; The rest will depends on whether your you can make good alibi or not, but generally, as long as you don’t show any flaw, the Spacecrew will not get suspicious.To play good Chameleon, you need to have goodenough acting skills, and if you cannot bear to go anymore, then pretend to be Joker (if there’s any). That way others wouldn’t dare to vote you during a meeting.

Bring advantages to Chameleon victory: Spy (discuss with teammates and watch as you Spy teammates attack others openly, while you should stay in crowded place so that Spacecrew will think that you are ally and will be easier to win the game);

Joker(if you don’t have good acting skills as Chameleon and cannot do it anymore in later game, you can just disguise yourself as Joker and show weakness, then say that you’ll help Spacecrews in finding the impostors. That way the Spacecrew will most likely trust you, and will not initiatively vote you out thinking that you are Joker).

Bring disadvantages to Chameleon victory: Doctor(No matter how good you act will be futile under statement of the corpse, so make sure to attack Doctor first).
