PewPew I must say is a game with simple graphics, straightforward action, and a strong sense of nostalgia. Kids who are used to more flashy games may be underwhelmed.
The quantity of onscreen activity, on the other hand, will appeal to kids who enjoy classic arcade gaming. Younger or inexperienced gamers may be frustrated by the virtual controls, but the visual impact is compelling enough to keep kids trying to figure it out.
The game also includes a variety of game modes, each of which has its own distinct flavor. When you play it, you will not only be focused on hitting enemies, but also on avoiding them and patterning your firing angles to cause bounce damage, which is quite cool for an arcade game.
Overall, this is yet another enjoyable game. While it is a shooting game that certainly raises my blood pressure, it does not contain any violence. I enjoy the game's difficulty. It's easy to pick up, but it takes a long time to perfect. Just make sure the vibration option is turned on. It can tell you if you've been attacked by an opponent. It's a great game to acquire, but don't be surprised if you end yourself playing it for hours! (~˘▾˘)~
