✔️ Intriguing story
✔️ Light is the primary source in the world of Quest Hunter
❌ Narrative seems flat as game revolves around quests and dungeons

✔️ A mashup of game elements (Isometric dungeon crawler, quest hunting and hack & slash mechanics)
✔️ 3 difficulty levels available
✔️ Cross-platform
✔️ Intuitive controls
✔️ Dialogue options available
✔️ Co-op system between 4 players
❌ Slow-paced repetitive grind
❌ Wonky controls
❌ Manual looting
❌ Dull quest design
❌ Save point (Torches- rare drops) are difficult to complete
❌ Dialogue options don’t interfere with the ending
Audio (★★★☆☆)
✔️ Folklore-ish soundscape that fits the game vibe
❌ Nothing too spectacular
Verdict (★★★★★★☆☆☆☆)
For a hack-and-slash dungeon crawler, Quest Hunter didn’t hit the nail at all. Despite their appealing aesthetics and being a good form of entertainment, Quest Hunter doesn’t exactly bring anything new to the table. Though its combat is largely weak, it still serves its purpose and the story holds enough to keep you engaged.
Unless you’re new to the genre or are into the action RPG, I’d recommend you to go for something more satisfying.
