I will generalize There is no game’s gameplay as interactive drama. It’s not the traditional puzzle-solving game we often talk about. After the game starts, there will be a voice-over talking to you. He would say there’s no game here and you should go watch TV or do something else. Things would be fun if you don’t listen to him. You can break his title or may I say “his home” .
I was so satisfied by making the voice-over angry. Desire for discovery pushes me to do the thing forbidden by voice-over and look forward to what would be. And things always make me laugh out loud. It’s always fun to play a prank like a naughty boy.
The process of the game is very short. But I can assure you, the first experience would be so interesting and amusing. There is no game reminds me of Stanley Parable, although it does not have many endings like Stanley Parable does, it has a better sense of humor. If you are interested in this kind of game, there is also a paid version of the game, which is an updated version.

It's got meta in it, and you'll know why you're in this weird world. You'll also meet different NPCs and figure out how to escape.
If you know their previous title "DERE EVIL.EXE" you are in luck because the story is connected to that game a few years later.
Before talking about this game, I highly recommend AppSir's Dere Evil EXE if you have not heard of it, one of the best meta-horror games out there.
Like the DERE EXE games, Hopbound is a meta-horror game that'll hook you.
The first time you play it, you might think it's just an action platformer. But you'll suddenly encounter unusual graphics, such as glitches or even jump scares, which is pretty routine, that's their style.
But Hopbound doesn't have much of a plot, and when you die, you have to start from the very beginning of the level, which is really annoying. But the level design is not bad.
Cons
3rd level and 4th level are really hard for me compared to 1st and 2nd level. I keep retrying, watching ads (though you can skip them) just make me frustrated.

Well, it probably is a racing game. After all, most of the tasks involve racing. But I don’t want to define it simply as a racing game. It’s more than that.

DATA WING has everything I love: neon-lighted design, ambient vaporwave and a plot twist.
You play as a little triangle, delivering data throughout a computer system. Soon you will find out that the data you collect during racing will, piece by piece, form a story. (no spoilers)
Racing in DATA WING is super fun. The concept of riding the walls to gain memento is cool. You will need really good drifting skills to beat it.
I also love the metamerism in this game, as if the game is alive. In one level, you will meet malware who improvise and change your racing track on purpose.
My only complaint is that some levels, especially the one that involves gravity, are just too hard to beat :(

DERE EVIL EXE is a retro platformer with unique puzzles and gripping stories. Not all is right in this game and not everyone is to be trusted. But at the same time I have to trust someone. What I need to do is to survive the heart-racing journey through a stunning pixel art world.
Interesting meta dialogue and visuals are the most important feature of this game. Retro 16-bit pixel art style is very unique. The game is easy to control but the level is challenging. Excellent sound effects and music played a significant role in the course of my game.
I'm curious why the developers didn't prepare some exciting achievement system for such a wonderful metagame. It's really a pity.
