Albion online is a CROSSPLATFORM MMORPG
There, i said it. The PC version released years before the mobile version came out. So many players is already in high tier already, and the game only have 1 international server, it means some region might experience high pings but the game population is high.
So does the new player from Mobile device can compete in the game? The answer is yes. Theres many albion guide on youtube, i recommend you to check it out if u wanna try this game, because the game wont tell you how to play this Complex game and most players would rage quit because of the confusions. The game equipment have 8 Tier levels, and you can get to Tier 6 from 0 in around 6 hours if you know what you do.
Also, I wont even be surprissed if some gamers describe this game as one of the hardcore MMORPG, because it kinda is. The PvP system is very punishing if you are in the red & black zone, every item and equipment you have would drop (and a lil bit of your money as well). The grind of this game also require a serious amount of time whether its farming, crafting, faction point levelling, etc.
The economy of this game is driven by PLAYERS. Every food, weapons, armors, and even potions, got the crafter's name on it. The marketplace is pretty much like how a marketplace would works in the real world, its driven by traders, craftments, farmers, miners, woodcutter, fishermen and many other workers. Some players even only waste their time trading in markets and get rich by it, then they use those money to buy island, weapons, mounts, and even buying Exp scrolls.
And afterall that, theres still another pvp & pve stuff that i havent mentioned yet, but ill just let yall to test it yourselves.
With these crazy amount of contents, some might ask that is Albion P2W ?
And the answer is NO. Albion is F2P as f*ck. Yes, you can buy Premium but it doesnt affect the fight. Some might argue, that its P2W cuz the Premium would gave out some benefits...but Ive killed many T6- T7 with a T4 gear.... so yeah it doesnt matter if youre good.
Also, dont forget that this is a CROSSPLATFORM GAME so, playing with Mobile device and trying to do faction & guild wars is not a good idea. The war is fckn massive with hundreds of players spamming skills in one area at the same times. If you wanna play via mobile devices, its best to play the Arena mode for PvP lovers, go do dungeons for PvE lovers, or maybe go farm and trades if you like that.. :)
I myselves already stopped playing this game since few months ago. I got busy and got no time playing the game anymore.....but im writing this because i think this game deserves to be placed among the best modern MMORPG out there.
