I spent $1100 to explore various aspects of the monetization. The game currently expects you to spend $4000 a month on daily discount purchases. You don't grow in power quickly but everyone else grows even more slowly. While in the first couple of months you won't be a god, over time it will be apparent how p2w the game is.
They mask the daily purchases in clan auction and the discount mall. Rather than in your face $500+ cash shop limited time events, they slowly squeeze you over a long period of time.
Clan rewards are locked behind diamonds. This means that only people that spend $50 to $100 a day can get clan rewards. It is an auction so it could be far more since it pits you against your clanmates.
Auction house deals in a currency not really attainable through normal gameplay, meaning thst the entire economy in the auction house targets people spending money.
The pvp is very fun. The raids are good. Unfortunately the game is very exploitative and heavily p2w. Stay away.
