Because they didn't like the cruelty of the ruling Red Dragon, and because they thought that aggressiveness was not the way to achieve the goal of dragons living in peace and prosperity, some peace-loving dragons left their original tribe and formed a partnership with the Dragon Knight Guild, to safeguard order across the land. When they were leaving, a Gold Dragon at the rear was mortally wounded and killed by the ruling Red Dragon, leaving a dragon egg behind. The Dragon Knights protected this egg, and carefully hatched it into a small Gold Dragon who they named "Terry," after the land of Tyrenia. The job of delivering messages for the Guild fell to Terry, because of his skill as a flyer.

Since Auran is the kingdom in the land of Tyrenia with the longest history of training dragons, its Dragon Knight Guild is a shining light for all Dragon Knights in Tyrenia. The guild is made up of nobles of the royal family, dragon representatives and the commanders of every order of knights. It regularly announces and organizes adventuring events, and encourages every Dragon Knight to participate. The Dragon Knight Guildmaster Secretary Leefa has traveled by sea to Auran, and is responsible for organizing and announcing events for Guild members.
