Fantastic, innovative, fun
I think this is might favorite rhythm game because it's so satisfying to hit the rotation notes. Love the colorful anime art and the gameplay is smooth with high frame rate and polished. And I can play and vibe in the privacy of my own home instead of embarrassing myself in the arcades LOL (I'm a noob when it comes to rhythm, tbh I couldn't really get into before like everyone liked beat saber, the piano one and they were just ok to me).
But there's some really engaging about Rotaeno. It's really immersive (like you really feel the music more than only tapping notes). The controls have been really smooth and they flow really well with the music. There's even a story mode and achievements and badges which I have yet to unlock. I feel like this should be worth way more than $2.50. I counted around 37 songs (25 base game, 12 in the shop). Looks like around $5 for packs of 6 songs, which I happily bought them all. And the devs (indie dev from Hong Kong) have said more are on the way. All-in-all, if this game even looks slightly interesting to you, I'd put in the 3 dollars just to try it out, some games you just have to play for yourself to understand what it's like. And Rotaeno needs to be experienced.
