Fast-paced detective unriddle game with a pop of pink
A crime mystery unriddle game that incorporated the classic spot the difference mechanics, Detective S is a fast-pace game that would get you quickly, addicted.
In this game, you play as Detective S, a female detective that worked closely with the police forces but somehow, distance herself from the direct affiliation. Solving odd murder cases oneby one, you soon find out that the MC has a bigger objective in mind - finding out the truth behind her father's, a fellow police officer's - death.
The spot-the-differences element is really fun, though taking a bit more time to get used to. There is a time crunch, but you can get hints by watching ads, and the ads system is rather responsive so that had not been any major lagging so far. As an unriddle game, one does need to pay attention to the narrative and solve the cases after gathering enough clues and suspects' testimonials. However, it has a timeline interface that effectively consolidate everything into one single timeline for reading, so even beginners can solve the mystery.
It's vivd artwork realy adds to the fun element, and every character seemed rather fleshed out. I loved the pop of pink on the protagonist, a rare color one would use for general detective leads.
It's been a fun game so far. You do have to unlock future cases with gems, so do take note of that.
