Q1: What is the background story of Dragon&Knights?
A: The story of Dragon&Knights happens in a magical fantasy world. In this world live many races, each with their own unique appearance. Some of the races live in harmony with each other, while others are entangled in bitter fights. The main character (player) will collect partners of different Attributes and races while exploring Tyrenia, and they will help you defeat your enemies with their magic!
Q2: Are dragons the only enemy?
A: Most of the Bosses in the game are dragons, but it doesn't mean all dragons are enemies. Some dragons are peace-loving, and will join us as partners. And don't forget the goblins! They can be nasty!
Q3: How do I get new partners?
A: Core characters are unlocked for free as you progress through battles. Other hidden characters can be drawn using Mystery Boxes or Custom Gift Cards, obtained using Diamonds that you earn in battles and automatically over time. You can also buy Mystery Tokens in the Gold Shop and Diamond Shop to draw from Mystery Boxes.
Q4: How do I get hidden characters that are not available in Mystery Boxes?
A: Hidden characters are unlocked as you progress through the main story. There are four main ways to get them: Limited-time character packs, Mystery Boxes, Wish Recruit, and shards from Custom Gift Cards.
Q5: What should I do with the partners I have obtained?
A: You will earn plenty of resources through AFK and map progression alone. They can be used to level up partners and forge gear. You should also buy gifts in the shop and send them to partners to raise their Favorability. Higher Favorability will unlock Tyrenia's Legendary Tales, allowing you to savor stories exclusive to each partner as well as claim extra rewards.
Q6: What are Bonds? Are they related to elements?
A: There are five magical elements in the game: Wind, Fire, Water, Light and Dark. Some stages require partners of a specific element, but it does not affect your Power. The Bond feature can increase your Power; deploying partners with Bonds that have an advantage against the enemy can give you Power/Attack Speed/CRIT Rate or other attribute bonuses.
Q7: How do I use AFK earnings?
A: AFK earnings include EXP, items, gear and currencies. EXP can be used to increase your level. Items (e.g. Stardust, character shards, and flowers) can be used to level or star up partners, increase Favorability, etc. Gear can increase your partners' Power through forging. Currencies (including Gold and Diamonds) are used to level up characters and buy items in the shop.
Q8: What do I do if I lose a battle?
A: When you lose a close fight, try mixing and matching Bonds and positioning to increase your Power. If there is a big gap in your remaining HP, try using resources earned from battles and AFK to star up or level up your partners, or forge gear to quickly increase your Power.
Q9: How do I make more friends in Tyrenia?
A: You can join a Guild of players where adventures gather and chat with each other. Guildmaster Secretary Leefa will also publish all sorts of event info here. You will find the Guild entrance in Adventure - that is, after you have unlocked this feature by clearing some stages.
