This game is a rollercoaster of good and bad choices. The texture quality is good, but the models are rough. The characters are fully voiced, but the story is weak. The game appears to be developed as an English release, so I can't dismiss issues with the dialog.
I started off with low expectations. The intro told me that someone kidnapped my daughter, who I allowed to wander a dark alley alone, but I met someone and explained my entire story in time to ride in a truck that would arrive at the kidnapper's destination first if it wasn't attacked when the people I was supposed to be chasing came after me. It really doesn't make sense when you put it all together. I was certain the rest of the game would be equally unorthodox.
The dialog comes across as being written by a foreign English-speaker. The grammar issues are mostly technicalities and at least the spelling is correct and the dialogs are clearly spoken with text that fits into the boxes. The story takes a backseat rather quickly, with only casual mentions of a kidnapped daughter. This is probably for the best. At this rate, the ending will include child protective services taking your kid away after you just killed an entire island to get her back.
The mechanics are decent and feel like there was a lot of effort put into making sure controls and animations responded as intended. The game feels much like an indie release, though. The developer's profile claims they have been making games with a large audience since 2017 (although this is the only one published under that name). Perhaps this claim was simply meant to sound good, but it also means this game should have been more polished.
I hope there are plans to improve, as I do see a lot of potential here.
