Pride month is almost over, but pride is not
Let's celebrate Pride on the last day of the Pride Month, because, why not?
Here is a list of my favorite video games that are LGBTQ+ friendly!
Bay or Bae
I played Life is Strange years ago, but the question “Bay or Bae” haunts me forever. To sacrifice the small town where you grow up, or to lose the one whom you’ve known and loved for a long time? The ultimate question in this choice-based action-adventure game.
71334Life is Strange tells a touching story of the life Max Caulfield, an 18-year-old girl who has the ability to rewind time. The game is crafted beautifully with soft and hazy visuals, accompanied by an awesome lineup of music from artists like Alt-J and Angus & Julia Stone.
Play it, if you need a nice story, or a heartbreak.
Fun fact: the reason why I decided to play Life is Strange is because it has tons of references to Twin Peaks. I’m a huge fan of David Lynch. I looked up and found this post on reddit, which did a pretty good job on analyzing the influence of Twin Peaks on Life is Strange. Check it out if you are interested!
Yeah, same-sex marriage is available in the Pelican Town!
Pelican Town is located in Stardew Valley, where same-sex marriage is supprted.
This farming simulation game, created by one guy, has sold over 20 million copies. What makes this game so popular? If you’ve played it before, I’m inviting you to a poll.

1. Beautiful pixel arts
2. Soothing soundtrack
3. Lovely NPCs
4. Do whatever you like and have your own play style
5. Mayor’s purple shorts
Moving in with your partner
Adorable Home is created by Hyperbeard, the game dev known for making adorable stuff like Tsuki's Odyssey and KleptoCats (well, this one can be a little creepy).
If you need a simulation game where you can decorate your own house, grow vegetables and prepare meals for your partner, but you don’t want to invest too much time in it, I think Adorable Home is perfect for you.
178053I, in most cases, hate repetitive gameplay. But the amount of the repetitive actions that players need to take in Adorable Home actually works for me. It’s a great game for you to play from time-to-time, without getting too addicted to it - says someone who’s already felt guilty for playing too much Stardew Valley and The Sims.
