Basic Intro: J-001 was once AI of Cocoon, her physical body was created by Doctor, while her consciousness was brought to life one day by a mysterious microchip found in Cocoon. After she was activated, she showed extraordinary affection for a certain ancient piece of equipment, though nobody knows why.
As an assistant, J-001 has all the intelligence and processing power of an AI -- accurate computations, reliable performance, etc. -- but as an AI who operates with a portion of self-consiousness, there are some areas in which she is clearly less than intellignet. For this reason she has been playfully called an "Artificial Idiot."
