Roll, roll, roll the troll

I just cannot resist a game with great graphics and soundtrack. Plus silhouette? Yes, please!

In this game, you play a fluffy (or spiky) little troll who is trapped in a cage first. You need to escape and keep running forward while avoiding traps and enemies such as giant caterpillars. Sounds cute, right? But it's actually way more challenging than a little troll's adventure in the forest. It gets more and more difficult, and the background will make sure you feel the tension.

(I hate to admit it but this is where I first got stuck.)

I love how the line blurs between cute and creepy for this game. The visuals are absolutely stunning, and it reminds me of illustration books for children at first.  I started this game thinking it would be a fun adventure. But no, it's all about survival. There are files shooting spikes, caterpillars that look definitely poisonous, and traps that you never notice until you step on them. For someone who's just so, so terrible at controls, I have to say at some point it's more frustrating than fun. But I am the one who can't even finish the tutorial of Cuphead, so maybe it's totally my fault?

The game is free to play first but you will need to pay for the following levels. If you feel confident about your skills, I strongly recommend you try the entire game.
