Tactical Rouguelike : Best of Both Worlds. #TapTapExplorerS1
A fusion of Rouguelike dungeon crawling and turn based tactical gameplay, Undergrave is certainly the best of both worlds. To beat the game, you have to clear all floors by defeating all enemies without getting defeated yourself. You can jump on them, bash through them or throw your sword at them, the catch is that they move at the same rate as you and if you get too close, they won't hesitate to attack you. As in any Rouguelike games, some floors will grant you abilities that can mean the difference between life and death.
The pixelated graphics is certainly old school, but it does not take away the charm but rather adds to it. To defeat all enemies you must think ahead about your moves and your enemies' moves alike. The controls are really simple and is nicely optimised for mobile devices.
Such wholesome graphics, great accessibility with such a small size and certainly enjoyable with Rouguelike features and tactical depth, I think I've struck gold with this one. You should try it too, definitely a 10/10 in my books.
