Pay to play! I joined the game rather late for a 4 year anniversary. There were more ads to spend money in this game than I have ever experienced before. You can continue playing for free, but as soon as a player who spent lots of money targets you, say goodbye to your army. The amount of resources to replenish that army is so substantial, that you HAVE to spend real $ to do it. So you start over, you get almost back to 100% and bam, there goes your army again. Heroes are rare!
