PROS:
- unique and quirky art style
- varied fantasy soundtrack-detailed sound effects-deeply layered mechanics (status effects, turn mechanics, passive/active bonuses, mixture of win conditions, etc.)
-gameplay is a mixture of Card Thief and Maze Machina with a few added roguelike deck-building tropes (such as adding cards, strengthening cards, receiving passive bonuses, various encounters, etc.)
-unique and fun classes to play as
-high amount of replayability-gameplay contains a nice sprinkle of luck-fair monetization model
CONS:
-steep learning curve-lots of micromanaging various gameplay mechanics which occasionally leads to monotony-
sometimes luck plays too much of a factor despite proper strategic choices (this can also be seen as a pro)ALL IN ALLCard Crawl Adventure is a solid roguelike deck building game that really rewards players who overcome its initially steep learning curve.
The more you play the game, the more you discover, learn, and enjoy its various elements. It’s entirely free to try with the game’s starting class so you might as well give it a go!
