Talk about developing and making a cyberpunk style game map production

Translate
Use the editor and game project in the Machinist game world to develop, produce and complete your cyberpunk dreams.
Machinist as a game making platform based on 3D physics engine and block logic programming, we hope to let more players become game developers and experience the fun of development. Currently, our developers have made war simulation, space fleet, strategy raising, track assembling, online racing and other mini-games. Now we set our eyes on making a cyberpunk style game.
Inspired by the huge popularity of the Cyberpunk 2077 game, we wanted to be able to develop a Cyberpunk game of our own on Machinist's game platform using our own editor, and for this reason our development team has done a lot of underlying and editor optimizations to lay the groundwork for our development. In this article, we will share our game development progress and give you our current development results.
Start with a future world full of neon lights
Obviously, our cyberpunk game has some influence from Cyberpunk 2077. We've set up a post-disaster world where disasters strike at every turn, and players have to gather the supplies they need to survive in time to defend themselves against them. This is the current setting, and our developers are still "adding" to the world, but now we can see the general appearance of the world, full of various neon lights, dilapidated streets, sci-fi scenes, and this is the beginning of our cyberpunk.
The game world is constantly improving
At first, we just wanted to use the game's editor to make a small RPG game, then with the addition of the large map feature, plus the underlying art and model updates, we had a bold idea to make a large map with all the features of the development platform, and thus a cyberpunk world was born.
The beginning of a game is the building of the map, whether it's a star river for a space game or a map template for a sandbox game, the maps we've developed for previous games are not very big, so we had quite a few challenges to face. The building of the map would take a lot of time, and in order to fit the cyberpunk theme, the dilapidated streets and the lighting effects at night would take a lot of time, and the interior of the game would need to add a lot of decoration: neon spray colors, light projections, colorful billboards, etc., to bring a characteristic glow to this game world.
