Deemo II Review: Unique Rhythm Game Worth Trying!

Deemo II is not everyone's game. Its not just a rhythm game with beautiful and relaxing songs. In this game, you will be playing as Echo and solve the Hollow Rain mysteries and looking for The Long Gone Composer. Hollow Rain is a weird phenomenon which can transform people into scattered petals. In order to push the Hollow Rain back, you will need to travel around the train station, solve puzzles, find song sheets, and push the rain back by playing songs

So first i wanna talk about the graphic quality and optimization in this game. One thing that i hate about some rhythm games that i've played is that they have bad optimization. This thing frustrates me a lot especially when the game's fps drop out of nowhere and i failed to get my Full Combos. However, this isnt the case with Deemo II. The game runs pretty smooth and there's no fps drops which is really important in rhythm games. As for its graphic, no need to doubt about, this game has decent graphics. All of its designs starting from character designs, song cover designs, map designs are very unique and cute.

However, just like what i've mentioned before, Deemo II is not everyone's game. Im not saying that this things are bad, its just that some people dont really like it. First thing is that most of the songs are piano and vocal based, if you're not into classic piano songs then you probably not gonna like the songs here. Next thing is how you obtain songs. You will have not more than 5 songs once you started the game. In order to obtain more songs, you will need to explore through the train stations to add those song sheets into your collection. You can also obtain songs from events. Sometimes, they will also give you missions that tells you to play certain songs so you can try new songs. If you dont really like the grind, then you can just buy song bundles using real money

I love rhythm games and Deemo II is actually doing a really good job here. They have decent graphic, simple but unique design, and also beautiful stories and songs all combined in this one game. The only thing that i want more from this game are songs since you will need to grind really hard to get new songs. Overall Deemo II a really good rhythm game and i hope they will give a decent amount of new songs frequently in the future
