Regardless of how I feel about the game based on content, mechanics, and other aspects of playing it, I cannot deny that the developers did something almost no game has done. They used Live2D as it was intended to be used, which is not to make characters appear to wobble.
The animation in this game brings the characters to life, which is good because the game is mostly story. There is a lot of depth, including having you register a nickname and birthday with your user name. This depth begins and ends with the story.
The battles are as simple as they come, but I guess this is another game that was meant to be a visual novel with a game component. This seems to be increasingly popular and should probably have its own category.
This was not the type of game I normally enjoy, but its use of Live2D did impress me. That has to be worth a decent rating.
