Xeno Command - Heroes Reporting for Duty
"Know your enemy, and know yourself."
Previously we've analyzed the basic situation of different planets and acquired general knowledge of our enemies. This time, we will get down to our own forces and have a thorough understanding of heroes so as to give them full play in battles.
This joint mission has assembled four top factions across the galaxy. Each faction is led by a powerful hero with unique skills suitable for all types of battlegrounds.
Ultimate Captain
“The ultimate power comes not only from the Ultimate Mech, but from the ambition of steel."
The red rose blooms on the battlefield. The woman with a mind of steel leads her mechanized legion and sweeps the battlefield like a breeze. Her Ultimate Mech is the ace among its ranks.
High-Explosive Grenade: Launch grenades to bombard the target, causing area damage.
High-Explosive Grenade is a practical remote skill that can target and damage enemies from a rather long distance, especially effective for a dense crowd.
Area Healing: Instantly heal all friendly units in range.
A healing skill can be a lifesaver in a critical condition as it could turn the table when engaging in a fierce battle.
Invincible Shield: Ultimate Captain can create an energy shield, making troops invincible for a short duration.
Tour de force. Ultimate Captain can cast herself and her troops an invincible shield that is extremely handy for charging forward or retreating.
Fearless Company
"Emotion is the key to understanding the meaning of life. The Universe breaks, we fix." - Fearless Company
Fearless Company is a great-hearted veteran with a rather surprising fondness for milk. He is the big brother and the soul of the Fearless Battalion. Famous for their strong logistics, the Fearless Battalion troops can be deployed to the frontline almost instantly through their orbital drop capability.
Frag Grenade: All units throw a grenade at the target. Delayed detonation. Consume heavy ammo.
When casting the skill, more units will throw more grenades, and thus deal higher damage.
Stimulant: Units in range lose some HP, but gain increased attack rate and movement speed for a short period.
Though power comes with a price, the Fearless Battalion will spare no effort to win without any hesitation.
Defensive Stance: Order troops to enter a defensive stance, immobile but with enhanced defense.
Each soldier is a fortress of their own. The Fearless Battalion stands still to guard the base and confront incoming enemies.
Chrono Trooper
"Compared with shuttling through spaces, I prefer walking on the ground and staring at the blue sky." -Chrono Trooper
Chrono Trooper can teleport herself and her troops around the battlefield and is quick to respond to emergencies. For allies, she's the reliable support. For enemies, she's the Death with silver wings.
Freezing Aura: Emit a circular wave at the target location, dealing damage and slowing the enemy.
Deceleration Zone: Orbital satellite zones in on the target location, radiating an area that deals continuous damage and slows enemies.
Freezing Aura and Deceleration Zone would make a perfect combo for slowing enemies. A timely combo could deal massive damage and greatly restrain enemies' mobility at the same time, leaving them to be the lamb to the slaughter.
Orbital Bombardment: Perform multiple large-area orbital strikes on the target location, with a freezing effect.
The high-energy cannons bomb the target from the air with no trace to be found. The cannons eliminate everything on site before the enemies can notice the big explosion.
Dr. Ether
"The moment when the particles collided, I had an epiphany. Past, present, and future, power is eternity." -Dr. Ether
In a sense, Dr. Ether is no longer a form of natural life. It is said that he was a doctor of physics and an accident turned him. He flows in the air and can enter an overcharged state, upgrading his attacks and enabling advanced skills.
Overcharged State: Transform the Doctor into an overcharged state that can emit lightning balls to pierce enemy units.
Healing Wave: Emit a circular healing wave that restores the HP of friendly units.
Electric Overload: Concentrate electricity into a circular area, dealing continuous damage to enemy units.
