For anyone that has played Rangers of Oblivion (or the original Soul of Hunter), you will know what sort of quality to expect.
Gtarcade has learned from their mistakes last time they localized a game like this from NetEase. They may not be the cleanest translations, but the text is printed cleanly and there are no graphical glitches. A crash here or there is still possible, but can be fixed by starting the game and resuming progress.
A lot of the mechanics are similar, including what this game calls a spirit mode to view things that are hidden in plain site. There is still very little focus on automation. The customization and avatar selection are still high end, but not excessive.
Despite the internals being very similar, this is a much different game with a new cast of original characters. It should not be dismissed as another version of the same content.
It is always nice to see games of this quality release in English and even nicer to see solid evidence that a developer is improving with time.
