I was in the shower washing suds off my girthy chest when suddenly, I heard someone shouting. I immediately drew back the shower curtains and I leaped out, like a frog escaping a pit of boiling, frothing water. Who could be shouting so late, against the indomitable silence of the night? It sounded like it came from my bedroom, where I thought nobody else had entered for years. Something was wrong.
Galvanised to action, I broke down the door and infiltrated my room. I heard the shout again. Only this time, it was clearer, and I understood everything. Cries of "UNO!" ruptured my computer speakers. And I was happy.
