Spark Era Echo To Universe is Just Plan BORING...

Battle royale meets outer space... seems like an interesting concept, right? Spark Era Echo To Universe fails to deliver anything good to this new concept. The game first starts off letting you choose from 4 different faction. Each faction then lets you choose an avatar picture profile for either a male or female gender. After that your left clueless as to what to do. The lack of tutorial really hurts the game right off the bat. Your left confused and fumbling through menus trying to figure things out on your own. Once you spend 10 minutes looking around and have somewhat of an idea of how things work, you have fun with the customization. Getting to change your base view is by far my favorite. You can choose from a galaxy view to a view of the earth or other planets.
The only game mode present is just a traditional battle royale style of play. This mode puts you up against 49 other players and offers 3 different galactic maps. The gameplay is just downright boring. At first, it's hard to even tell if your spaceship is moving. Everything looks so flat and 2D despite it being a 3D environment. The depth of how fast your moving is so bad in this game. You go from feeling like you're not moving to suddenly right on top of another players spaceship.
The atmospheric feel just isn't there at all. The map is just covered in rocks. Thats all you see is just rocks all over your field of view. The controls are simple as you only have 3 buttons to press. There is a shoot button, a reload button, and finally a special ability button. Before the match starts you can choose from a variety of special abilities. However, the healing ability is by far the best and just instantly nullifies any damage you took. I couldn't even finish a full match because it was just so boring and slow paced. I defiantly do not recommend this game. The idea is there and seems promising but its poorly executed.
