This could easily pass for an entry in the RWBY series.
It has graphics that teeter on the edge of being created with MikuMikuDance, but show just enough effort to be considered something more.
In terms of gameplay, it is fairly generic. Turn-based effects battles are more or less the common style for mainstream games, but the animation does manage to set this one apart. You can't really hate a game that isn't a bunch of chibi, either.
The colors are bright and there is a nice fluidity to the game that makes it feel like an extremely fancy indie game, even if Clover Games is no indie developer.
Overall, it beats the last "poorly translated from ..." title that released. That is something.
