why i quit brawl stars

Translate
played for about 3 years as f2p, and officially quit almost a month ago. i like the grind but sometimes it felt so impossible due to absolute garbage matchmaking. i should not have a new brawler at level 1 and ~100 trophies getting dominated by a level 11 maxed guy also at 100 trophies who probably whaled everything.
i have never spent a single cent in this game, as i do most games. i did like that it was somewhat possible to get the brawl pass without paying real money. however, this was not consistent, as you can really only get it every other season, with how much free gems u can possibly get. theres a new brawler in every brawl pass season, so if you're a f2p player, ur gonna rely solely on boxes to get yourself the newest brawler. every. single. season.
with this, unlocking the rarest brawlers is also largely undoable as f2p in my experience. maybe some in my situation have actually got all of them, or i'm just unlucky. ive only unlocked 2 out of 6 legendaries, and with the chances of getting them being as microscopic as they are, i don't think ill ever get to experience the other 4. at this rate, 3 years for 2 legendaries, i need to play for 6 MORE YEARS to get ALL OF THE LEGENDARY BRAWLERS. make of this game what you will, that is an ABSURD AMOUNT OF TIME FOR SOME DAMN RARE CHARACTERS.
i played almost every day for around 1-2 hours and some of those days i left with LESS progress than when i started. it really feels like you dont get rewarded for winning, but you get punished way too harshly for losing.
i liked the style of the game, very fun and cutesy, as well as the social aspect with clubs and working together to get rewards. but it is TERRIBLE overall with gameplay, the meta, people whaling to win, and especially as f2p.
with all that said, some positives i got out of playing, and for as long as i did:
it really introduced me to the world of gacha-esque games, hero shooters, and action/strategy overall. ive also dabbled in the competitive side briefly, and that was cool too. so what i'm hoping to do now is take my knowledge of brawl stars to some other hero shooters, to maybe thrive and get competitive in those instead.
thanks to whoever may find this for reading, hopefully it helps someone out there in one way or another.

the game changed a ton since then, no more chests, a consistent way of unlocking brawlers, the whales are still there though less common and there are better pass rewards, hopefully you get into the game again and enjoy it as it is now

very True! Supercell always matching me with 11 level enemies with level 7 teammate, or also ALWAYS with bad and toxic teammate, while their team full of pro and high masteries rank

brawlstars has said this millions of times.... matchmaking is based only on trophy count. nothing to do with power level.
