Is that you Bastian or is it Another Shadow?

Based on the developer’s social media accounts, the game will be probably available in the middle of December 2022. I could also say that they stick with what they think works for them because they have used the same art style and musical scoring basing it on trailers/teasers available online since the very first room escape from Hidden Town. Visually appealing and the game’s music transports you to the character’s shoes. The game is currently available for “Pre-registration” on different platforms such as Google Play Store and Taptap to name a few.

The story for this one is that a couple, Bastian and Carissa, have moved into a new home experiencing paranormal events. The shadow of an ancient curse has returned and it won't go away until he gets what it wants, Bastian's life to enslave him in darkness. Bastian has been trapped in the dark and players will be helping Carissa to find a way to bring him back. In this game, they have developed it in a way that we can interact between the two characters separated by different dimensions helping each other to save themselves.

The gameplay will be solving puzzles and clicking the environment and collecting usable items that will help the player to move into another “room” of the game. I have played games with similar mechanics but with another player, but for this one, the player will be controlling both of them.

Personally, I am already waiting for a notification of its availability. This game will be different from what I usually play but I would love to give this genre another chance. I haven’t touched a lot of indie games but when I do, they are usually “gold”. I hope to give this an update once the game is already up.
