SPACE...THE Final Frontier...I wonder if the moon is made out of cheese? IXION Review

IXION combines city building, survival elements, and exploration into a thrilling space opera as you explore the stars. Propelled onwards through a difficult journey, you are the Administrator of the Tiqqun space station, charged with finding a new home for humanity.

Keeping the station sound and flying will require a deft hand and strategic thinking. You are constantly pulled between maintaining hull integrity, bringing in new resources, and managing power consumption.

What choices will you make when confronted with impending disaster? What will you discover out there in the dark?

My Experience:

So far, I have seen alot of space indie games, some can go from very silly to highly detailed, but this one is very detailed, sometime in the future. This may be what the end could be like, but who knows?

Now I don't play many builder games besides FrostPunk

CIV series and The Wandering Village. IXION takes it to the point that if you use alot of energy, there will be a blackout or if you don't have enough food, outposts workers will respond by revolting against you!

What I like: 

Well-detailed environment, complete view of the space station and the galaxy

Excellent soundtracks and sound design

Quality is at the AAA title

The tutorial is straightforward

What other people that had early access to this game love how it's fully finished and like the gameplay

What I didn't like:

Honestly, there aren't any bad things about this game

A game I would recommend as a good starting point to colony management games (Like the Frostpunk series)

I don't usually play these games daily, but it's good to play them again, starting with IXION. If you want to come pace to the genre of colony management games

start with this one!
