Protect the Heart of the Universe in Gatekeeper, a fast-paced roguelite

Hi there!
We’re Gravity Lagoon, a small team of indie devs from Kazakhstan, and we’re now working on our first major title Gatekeeper. So let us tell you a bit more about it!
Gatekeeper is an isometric fast-paced roguelite in which you take the role of the Observer who has to protect the Heart of the Universe, an extremely important artifact that keeps the cosmic balance.
The Heart has been stolen by powerful forces and is now kept in a quantum cage, the keys to which are held by the ancient giants, the Sirens. In order to keep the world from falling apart, you must head to an unknown galaxy, find the Heart, and shoot your way through the hordes of machine enemies guarding the planetary gates to reclaim it, alone or together with your friends.
In terms of gameplay, Gatekeeper is quite straightforward, yet fun: you choose among several playable characters with unique skills, explore different planets, and shoot hordes of various monsters and bosses.
The more you fight, the more experience you get, which is used to upgrade the characters’ skills. Besides, you can combine your own abilities with those of found artifacts. There are over a hundred different items in the game, and each of those collectibles changes the gameplay and makes every run a unique adventure - the list of all possible skill combinations is truly enormous, making Gatekeeper versatile and interesting to explore. Finally, there’s a unique Totems system, allowing you to open the paths to new locations by completing special challenges and defending the Totems.
Gatekeeper is still in development, but we’ll be releasing its free prologue Gatekeeper: Eclipse next month.
Among other things, it will feature all the core mechanics from the full game, and thus give you a glimpse of what Gatekeeper will be like - make sure to wishlist it if you’re into fast-paced roguelites set in space (or if that’s something you’d like to try out)!
Thank you!
