This is a good example of how paywalls are made.

The gameplay or game type of Merge Goddess is currently in trend right now. The casual tower defense of yesteryear, where placing towers along the path and letting them rip enemies along the path, is mixed with today’s merging of units to make them stronger and adding elements and skills and character and personality and all other aspects that make each unique is also present here.
The game starts with some tutorials and after that, you are directed to battle others right away other people. PVP guys, there is PVP here and it works so that whoever gets their life gets to zero loses.
There are a few complaints on my end, and when I say few, it probably is plenty. I am queued or matched to Players with agents and units which are legendary or super rare with high levels already.  It is impossible to win against them. Another, is there are very long waiting time to get into the game. (Probably the number of players available online). There is also a very huge paywall and I mean it, PAYWALL on this game. Characters, agents or units or chards to level them up are usually available in free currency, but getting my hands on premium units requires me to spend a few dollars. The battle pass also has a great disparity in the rewards for premium and free.
To be fair and honest, I have complained a lot previously but I am still playing the game. The game mechanics are very simple, the unit selection is purely based on the synch or harmony between them. And the 2D visuals are a treat, the gameplay is easy, the game is repeatable and it only lacks an adventure mode or some other game mode, but there are already buttons or menus that are still marked as “Coming Soon”.
