Duskwood review
For reference I followed this game's development and interacted with the reddit community on this game before the last 3 or 4 episodes were released.
This game has actual people acting and those scenes are performed well. The difficult mini-games that gate progress is hard, but it isn't impossible or overly dependent on user spending money on items to clear the lvl like candy crush.
The mystery itself is well-written, after few of the revisions were done, however there is no real bad ending per say as the user is more guided to follow a certain path and not wander wherever and deal with the consequences.
Majority of the joy I felt from this game is by interacting with the active community and users will miss out on that joy if they were to play it now, since the game finished and most of the reddit members moved on.
The premium options only blocks user from opening romance routes and viewing some pictures or videos, however those thing are more like extra feature and not actively blocking you from exploring the mystery such as "to go down this path pay X coins".
I recommend people to play this game if they want to be part of the sequel that's in the works.
