Frontier Chronicles - Another SLOW BASE BUILDING Game.

At First Frontier Chronicles seemed like an interesting game to me, the art style was cute, and it kind of reminded me a bit like the old Command & Conquer games... Just a little bit.

But in the end this game couldn't grab me. Gameplay wise you are building a base and your army and have to fight turn based matches with enemies that pop up as your base is progressing. You have to get resources as well, though it is very slow to gather, and I felt like no matter what position I put my men, they died really easily.

Not to mention almost everything you do has a timer attached to it. Though it is only 30 seconds (For now) it still adds up. In the end I quit playing the game when my gold ran out, and I couldn't heal any more of my men because of said lack of gold.

Visually this game looks great. The colours and the art style is clean and high detailed. I really like how this game looks. Shame about the rest of the game though. Overall I'd say that Frontier Chronicles is not a game for me. The amount of time waiting around each time you need to upgrade or heal your men etc. is just not for me. And the amount of time it takes to gather more gold and other resources is just too slow. Not a fan, and not a game for me.
